Are you under thirty (If you're prone to lie about your age, answer truthfully)?
The place to hang is the Osprey. You can take a cab and run over to the Parker House in Sea Girt, located just one town north or head south to the Tiki Bar located on Jenkinson's Pier at the Point Pleasant Boardwalk.
Are you in your late twenties to early thirties? You definitely want to put together a small group, rent a cab bus from Able Cabs in Manasquan (Just across the street from Jaspen's Hardware) and go on a bar crawl to Avon-by-the-Sea. Start off at Columns, they have great specials on Monday and Tuesday nights; the place rocks all week long plus it's a pleasant ride there along Ocean Avenue. You could stop for pizza at Pete and Elda's, Neptune's Jersey Shore Best Pizza Award winner. Head back over the brand new Belmar Bridge (make note of the marina on your right, that's where you'll catch some fish tomorrow) and end the evening at the Parker House in Sea Girt.
You'll have the time of your life and you're to be applauded for drinking responsibly by not driving.
Are you over forty and still kicking it? There are a number of fine clubs to relax and enjoy. Try Ferraro's Cafe. They have Jazz Night, Comedy Night, excellent Italian cuisine and a spirited owner operator, Dino. Leggett's, on 1st Avenue in Manasquan, is a sports bar with great pizza and televisions for every patron. Go watch a baseball game, soccer match or synchronized swimming (Just kidding). You'll have a blast visiting Manasquan bars.
